Partagás Aliados

Partagás has added a new vitola to its catalogue: the Aliados. It is exclusively available in La Casa del Habano and Habanos Specialist outlets, of which The House of Grauer is a part.

Habanos Specialist is a distinction awarded by Habanos S.A. to retailers who contribute to the dissemination of the Habano culture and its famous cigar brands. Habanos Specialists stand out for their exceptional personal service, advising aficionados according to their preferences.

While the brand was one of the first two, along with San Cristóbal de la Habana, to produce vitolas exclusively for La Casa del Habano, the Culebras released in 2007 and the Salomones released in 2008, the Aliados is the first cigar of the brand to be available exclusively for La Casa del Habano and Habanos Specialists.

The Aliados (or "allies" in English) introduces a new module for both the brand and Habanos, called Delirios. Although new, this module with a cepo of 45 and a length of 167 mm belongs to the Double Corona family to which Partagás already belongs with its emblematic Lusitanias (49 × 194 mm).

The 45 cepo is not totally foreign to the brand, however, as it was already used in 2003 with the Partagás Royals de Partagás, a Felipe 94 (45 x 115 mm) released as part of the 510 Aniversario Humidor.

In order to underline its exclusivity, the Aliados is dressed with a double band. One is the brand's classic band and the second is the gold band exclusively reserved for La Casa del Habano and Habanos Specialist specialities, bearing both logos. These two bands side by side give it a rare elegance.

The Partagás Aliados is available in a box of 20 cigars, or should we say "box set". Indeed, it introduces a new style of packaging comparable to the recently introduced Glorias de La Gloria Cubana (La Casa del Habano Exclusivo). A beautiful, solid box, covered with a transparent lacquer, bringing out the natural grain of the wood. On the top, we find the original vista of the brand, decorated with the various gold medals won by the brand.

This new Partagás product will immediately appeal to aficionados with its generous dimensions, offering more than an hour of particularly balanced tasting. We find the characteristic taste of the brand focused on the notes of chocolate, earth and leather, resulting from the carefully selected tobacco leaves in the Vuelta Abajo.
