House of Grauer offers a tasting evening of Habanos flagship brand « Cohiba »

In 1963 Cohiba started as a Fuma (a torcedor-rolled cigar for his own use) which was offered to Fidel Castro, whom he immediately became his favorite Cigar.
In 1964, a small factory was set up to make these cigars, the production was then transferred to the present El Laguito Factory.
Unnamed until 1966, Cohiba is the favorite brand of Fidel Castro, which he offered as diplomatic gifts.
One of its specificities lies in the triple fermentation of the tobacco, which also justifies its high price, cigars deemed to be among the finest in the world.
