VegaFina Nicaragua presents its new trendy vitola, Gran Vulcano, which joins the brand’s emblematic line. This cigar offers aficionados a 100% Nicaraguan blend of the finest tobaccos from the Jalapa and Estelí regions. Gran Vulcano is slightly longer than the iconic ‘Vulcano’, offering an extended experience for cigar lovers with a thick wrapper and inimitable Nicaraguan character.
Made from tobacco leaves carefully aged according to the line’s original blend, Gran Vulcano comes in a box of 10 cigars. Its wrapper is a ripe red, shiny, and silky, with no marked veins. Medium in strength, its aroma is woody, toasty and spicy, with notes of cedar, cinnamon, vanilla and pepper. The flavour is intense, with hints of minerality, coffee, almonds and sultanas, and a lingering aftertaste of vanilla, black pepper and treacle.
Tasting time for the Gran Vulcano is estimated at around 60 minutes. The draw of this cigar is excellent, offering rich, nuanced sensations with each inhalation. Its combustion is also excellent, ensuring a regular, even smoke throughout the tasting experience. Gran Vulcano’s ash is medium grey with dark grey matt streaks, compact and long-lasting.
