"Patoro," a name that encapsulates more than a century of expertise, is derived from the first three letters of the creator's name, Patrik J. Martin, and "Oro," the Spanish translation for gold, signifying "Patrik's gold." This name is not only synonymous with excellence but also carries an air of exclusivity, much like rare nuggets.

After a 13-year career as a product manager and ambassador for Avo and Griffin's brands in Switzerland within the Oettinger Davidoff group, Patrik Jonas Martin embarked on creating his own cigar brand – Patoro. His goal was to elicit positive emotions and feelings from aficionados through the sheer excellence of his cigars. This ambition, evident in the passion infused into his creations, is reflected in the five-pointed star gracing each Patoro cigar ring. Each branch of the star symbolizes the five positive emotions experienced when savoring a Patoro cigar: joy, serenity, inspiration, admiration, and satisfaction.

To achieve such lofty goals, collaboration with experts in tobacco cultivation in the Dominican Republic was imperative. The Reyes family, with a six-generation mastery, was the natural choice. The tobacco for Patoro cigars comes from the best soils in the Dominican Republic, utilizing Cuban-origin seeds developed through extensive research. Only leaves from the Seco and Ligero levels in the middle of the plant meet the standard for inclusion in a Patoro cigar. The cultivation technique, precise harvesting, meticulous care during multiple fermentations, and up to 12 years of tobacco maturation result in Patoro cigars offering unique flavors and aromas, catering to the most discerning aficionados.

Crafting Patoro cigars is an art reserved for the most experienced torcedors, each with a minimum of 15 years of expertise.
