Cohiba Short Humidor Year of the Rabbit
A limited edition humidor in honor of Chinese astrology.
January 22, 2023 marks the beginning of the Chinese New Year under the sign of the Rabbit. For this occasion, many Cuban cigar brands such as Cohiba and Montecristo have presented unique limited-edition Humidors offering vitolas specially designed to match the characteristics of this animal. Indeed, in Chinese astrology, the rabbit is a sign of longevity, peace, love and prosperity. As mentioned, Cohiba obviously did not fail to participate in this occasion by presenting a unique Humidor: the Short Humidor Year of the Rabbit.
Filled with 88 cigarillos, the elegant black cedar box is covered with a glossy varnish, decorated with the Chinese zodiac motif, the Rabbit, accompanied by the inscription "Year of the Rabbit". The care taken in the making of this Humidor shows its effectiveness in preserving the vitolas and makes it a very elegant object. Inside, we find the Short (27 x 82 mm) machine-made by Habanos S.A., whose assembly is exclusively Cuban.
This medium strength cigar offers a 20-minute tasting, so it is the ideal "dessert" to complement the espresso that will close the lunch or dinner. It is dressed in the characteristic ring of the Cohiba brand, yellow, black and gold, which is stamped "Habana, Cuba". The Cohiba Short Humidor Year of the Rabbit joins the brand's limited-edition catalog with a production of 15,888 humidors of which Switzerland is one of the first countries to receive.
With this Short Humidor "Year of the Rabbit", Cohiba reinforces its position as a cigar brand offering limited edition cigars for the Chinese zodiac calendar. So, we will have to wait for another year to discover what the brand has in store for the Year of the Dragon.
