For eight years consecutive, the Davidoff Winston Churchill collection has been an international success, notably for "The Original Series" and "The Late Hour Series" product lines.
In addition to these two regular ranges and for the fourth time, Davidoff’s aim was to pay tribute to the "Old Lion" with a new limited edition cigar: the Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2022. This 2022 edition is the follow-up release from the 2021 limited edition, which honored the fearless leader well known for always having his cigar in hand, leading his people and soldiers.
Indeed, from statesman to commander, from author to painter, Sir Winston Churchill was a man of many facets. The Davidoff Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2022 represents exactly that. The team of Davidoff Master Blenders have carefully crafted this perfecto cigar (61 x 149 mm), which is the only perfecto in the entire Winston Churchill range.
Their top priority was to create a blend as large, multifaceted and complex as the man himself. The Winston Churchill Limited Edition 2022 is the perfect marriage of the multi-origin blends of The Original and The Late Hour series. With tobaccos from Ecuador, Mexico, the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua, this perfecto cigar offers intensity, complexity and a variety of flavors, combined with notes of leather, cedar wood and The Late Hour Series with the nutty and floral aromas of The Original Series.
Wrapped in an oily Ecuadorian leaf, this elegant perfecto cigar offers an hour-long tasting experience that ranges in intensity from medium to strong. The first third is dominated by complex leather notes, while the second part of the cigar carries intense nutty aromas. During the last third, fresh spicy flavors are present on the palate. Additional notes of leather and black coffee complement the spiciness, creating an experience as diverse, complex and compelling as the statesman himself.
Production of this Perfecto is limited to 12,300 boxes of 10 units worldwide. The cigars are presented in an elegant box, inspired by Sir Winston's original briefcase. In addition to the 10 cigars, the box also contains a letter addressed to the aficionado, written by Randolph Churchill, Winston Churchill's great-grandson.
As with most of its limited editions, Davidoff takes the opportunity to launch a matching accessory offering the aficionado an experience of total immersion.
Decorated with Winston Churchill's silhouette and designed in the style of a pocket watch, this cigar cutter limited to 250 pieces only, is inspired by already existing Davidoff Winston Churchill products. Equipped with 3 stainless steel blades, it can cut cigars with a 34 up to 60 ring gauge. A scratch-proof sapphire glass protects the blades and provides a neat finish. A detachable leather case with a chain and carabiner clip, protects the cutter at the same time providing an extra touch of elegance.
