Habanos S.A. continues to celebrate regional exclusivity with the release of the Diplomáticos Legendario Edición Regional Italia 2023. This marks the first time the Churchill size has been used for the Diplomáticos brand, highlighting a unique approach within the Edición Regional program.
The Edición Regional initiative allows Habanos’ distributors around the world to commission a cigar each year, typically selecting a size not previously offered for that specific brand. These special releases are distinguished by a secondary red and silver band, reading “Edición Regional,” usually followed by the name of the represented region.
The Diplomáticos Legendario is presented in a numbered dress box of 10 cigars, with 10,000 boxes produced worldwide, emphasizing its rarity and collectible appeal. Measuring 178 mm in length with a 47 ring gauge, this Churchill format aligns with other highly regarded releases, such as the Por Larrañaga Larrañaga 47 Edición Regional Reino Unido 2021 and El Rey del Mundo Taínos Edición Regional Formosa 2018.
As part of the 2023 class, this release may take some time to reach stores, consistent with the Edición Regional program’s tradition of delayed availability, reinforcing its status as a highly sought-after, limited-edition Cuban cigar.
