Paradiso

A colorful brand, born from a collaboration between Don Pepin Garcia and Ashton.

Paradiso cigars were originally created by Ashton, one of the world's leading luxury cigar brands, under the name "San Cristobal". They were later renamed "Paradiso" for the European market. These cigars are notably produced by the famous Don Pepin Garcia, a Cuban master cigar maker, in his factory in Nicaragua. Today, we will mainly focus on 3 distinct Paradiso collections: Clasico, Quintessence and Revelation.

Let's start right away with the Clasico line: it is a puro elaborated by Jose Pepin Garcia in his factory in Estelí, Nicaragua. It has a beautiful Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder enveloping a filler composed of different high quality Nicaraguan grown tobaccos. Notes of espresso beans, dark chocolate, walnuts and black cherries emanate from a dense smoke, resulting in a cigar with a full-bodied profile.

This collection offers a range of 7 cigars: the Paradiso Clasico (50 x 127 mm), the Papagayo (55 x 146 mm), the Supremo (50 x 152 mm), the Papagayo XXL (60 x 152 mm), the Fabuloso (52 x 156 mm), the Coloso (62 x 171 mm) and the Monumento (49 x 184 mm).

The vitolas are dressed with a colorful ring, illustrated by the iconic parrot, symbol of the brand. It echoes the passion of the high seas and perfectly matches the details and bright colors that emerge from each box. Paradiso Clasico cigars are available in boxes of 22 units.

Moving on to the Paradiso Quintessence: this is a hand-rolled cigar from Estelí, Nicaragua, it is dressed in an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper and a Nicaraguan binder wrapping a Nicaraguan filler, revealing a cigar of medium strength. The main tasting notes are those of cedar, coffee beans, molasses and spices. It is part of the catalog of regular productions of Paradiso.

The Quintessence range offers 6 modules: the Paradiso Belicoso (54 x 165 mm), the Churchill (49 x 178 mm), the Corona Gorda (46 x 143 mm), the Epicure (52 x 152 mm), the Majestic (60 x 152 mm) and the Robusto (50 x 140 mm).

The ring that dresses the vitolas is obviously very colorful, with the emblem of the brand, the parrot. On its lower side, we can read the name of the line "Quintessence" in gold lettering and on a turquoise blue background. These vitolas are arranged in a box of 24 units.

Let's continue with the Revelation collection: elaborated in the factory of Don Pepin Garcia in Nicaragua, this cigar presents an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with a milk chocolate color. The binder and filler are made from the finest Nicaraguan tobacco crops. This medium strength vitola gives off tasty aromas of cocoa, cinnamon, cedar, smoked almond and black pepper. The draw is relatively easy and delivers a dense and generous smoke.

The Revelation range presents 6 cigars of different sizes: the Prophet (54 x 133 mm), the Mystic (48 x 143 mm), the Odyssey (60 x 146 mm), the Legend (52 x 159 mm), the Leviathan (64 x 165 mm) and finally the Triumph (50 x 178 mm).

The Revelation is dressed with the main ring of the brand as well as a secondary ring decorated with gold ornaments and stamped with the name of the collection in turquoise blue lettering on orange background. These cigars are presented in a brightly colored box of 24 units.

About the brand:

Paradiso or "San Cristobal" was born from the hands of Jose Pepin Garcia, who started rolling cigars at the age of 11, in Cuba. There he built his distinguished career as a master cigar maker over several decades. Jose then immigrated to the United States in the early 2000s.

In Miami's Little Havana neighborhood, his medium to full-bodied blends quickly caught the attention of cigar aficionados, propelling him into the ranks of high-end cigar maker. But this position will be strengthened thanks to the collaboration he has with his son, Jaime Gracia. Together, they will establish ties with Robert Levin and Sathya Levin, the father and son owners of the iconic Ashton brand.

They were impressed by Pepin and Jaime's passion for tobacco and their talent for making premium cigars. As a result, they entered into a partnership and named their new brand Paradiso together in 2006.

Today, the brand's versatile portfolio pays homage to the Garcia family's heritage, rooted in tradition and dedication to the art of cigar making. Pepin and Jaime influence each Paradiso cigar with their passion for growing, aging and blending tobaccos. Paradiso cigars embody reflection, recreation and peace.
