Partagás Legado Edición Limitada 2020

Introduced in Spain by Habanos last September, the Partagás Legado Edición Limitada 2020 has just arrived in Switzerland! The launch event was organised by Tabacalera S.L.U., the exclusive distributor of Habanos in Spain, in collaboration with the cigar club Pasión Habanos.

Presented at the 2020 Habanos Festival, the Partagás Legado is the only cigar to join the Edición Limitada program for 2020. Usually, three cigars join this prestigious program, which started in 2000. Since then, the Edición Limitada has been one of the most eagerly awaited Habanos productions of the year by aficionados worldwide.

There is no official reason why the Partagás Legado is the only one dressed in a second "Edición Limitada 2020" band, but the current global pandemic is probably one of the reasons.

In order to produce a vitola worthy of the Edición Limitada program, the wrapper and filler leaves, from the Vuelta Abajo, have been meticulously selected and then aged for a minimum of two years before being rolled in the "Totalmente a Mano" tradition.

The Legado is a Hermosos No.2, a vitola measuring 48 cepo and 157 mm long. The module is not new to the program, as we already enjoyed it once in 2004 with the release of the eponymous Romeo y Julieta and just last year with the first Quai d'Orsay Edición Limitada cigar: the Senadores.

Thanks to the Legado, Partagás becomes the most represented brand in the program with a total of 11 vitolas produced since 2005, ahead of Romeo y Julieta and Montecristo which released 10 limited editions respectively.

The Partagás Legado is available in limited quantities and comes in a box of 25 cigars, each with a second ring stamped "Edición Limitada 2020"! Like the three Edición Limitadas of 2019, the Legado introduces a new style of packaging, an exclusive box, covered in a dark purple lacquer offering a very sleek presentation.
