The newly released Partagás Royales arrives as a striking tribute to 180 years of one of Cuba’s most legendary cigar houses. Presented for the first time by Habanos S.A. during the evening gala of the Tax Free World Association Exhibition & Conference in Cannes, this special-edition travel humidor honors the enduring heritage of the Partagás name and is now available at the House of Grauer.
Each humidor contains 20 Partagás Royales, introducing an entirely new vitola to the Habanos portfolio: the Dichosos (48 × 150 mm). This Toro-sized format has never before been used by Habanos and gives the cigar a contemporary presence while respecting the brand’s classic identity. Every cigar is adorned with a special 180 Aniversario Partagás band and a Partagás foot band, emphasizing the commemorative nature of the release.
The name Royales may resonate with long-time aficionados. In the 1960s, Partagás produced a Petit Corona bearing the same name, discontinued in the 1980s. This modern Royales represents a reinterpretation of that historic reference, expanded into a larger format and paired with a sleek, redesigned presentation that reflects the brand’s anniversary.
Produced entirely in Cuba in the renowned Pinar del Río province, the cigars are crafted "Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga" using premium leaves from the celebrated Vuelta Abajo region. The smooth, silky wrapper and meticulous construction testify to the exceptional quality of the selected tobacco.
Full in strength yet remarkably balanced, the Partagás Royales delivers a complex and rich flavor profile. Notes of cocoa and oak intertwine harmoniously, building intensity as the cigar evolves. Each draw reveals deepening nuances, leading to a long, persistent finish that is unmistakably Partagás.
