Ramón Allones King of North Edición Regional Nordico-Baltico 2020
A second regional edition for the Baltic and Nordic countries.
The Baltic and Nordic countries have a new regional edition! Succeeding the Rafael González North Star of 2017, the Ramón Allones King of North is the second regional edition "Exclusivo Nordico Baltico".
Note that between the two, the characteristic lees-coloured second band changes its text slightly and now reads "Exclusivo Nordicos Balticos". In fact, behind each appellation lies a group of countries. "Nordicos" includes Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden, and "Balticos" represents Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
The vitola chosen by Ramón Allones for this new regional edition is the Dobles (50 x 155 mm). More commonly known as Robusto Extra, it is one of the most frequently used modules in regional editions. In fact, there have been no fewer than 14 Dobles produced in regional editions since 2006. Two of these have already been produced by Ramón Allones, the 2007 Gran Robusto in Edición Regional Benelux and the 2016 Terra Magica in Edición Regional Adriático.
Usually reserved for special productions in a broader sense, one Habanos brand though does however offer Dobles in regular production, we are talking about Montecristo with the Double Edmundo, which entered the catalogue in 2013.
Like its predecessor, the Rafael González North Star, the Ramón Allones King of North is limited to 6,000 individually numbered boxes of 10 each. Each cigar is made "Totalmente a Mano con Tripa Larga" with leaves from the Vuelta Abajo.
