Ramón Allones Perfecto Edición Regional México 2020

The brand's first Tacos, exclusively for Mexico.

Mexico has just received a new regional edition: the Ramón Allones Perfecto! Succeeding the 2019 Punch Duke, it is the second "Exclusivo México" cigar not being an Edmundo Dantes, a brand created in 2007 by Max Gutmann, owner of Mexican Habanos distribution, for the Mexican regional editions.

The vitola chosen by Ramón Allones for this new regional edition is a double Figurado called "Tacos". The cepo 47, has a length of 158 mm, which is new for Ramón Allones, but which is rather regular for all other brands. Indeed, it has been used prior the Cuban Revolution by Partagás for its Presidentes and since 2016 by Hoyo de Monterrey for the Elegantes, one of its cigars produced exclusively for La Casa del Habano.

The Ramón Allones Perfecto also introduces the Tacos module to the regional editions' program. The Perfecto will not remain the only Tacos in regional editions for very long, as it will soon be joined by the Cuaba APAC Edición Regional Asia Pacifico.

However, if the vitola is new for Ramón Allones, the name "Perfecto" definitely is not. Indeed, this is the second time the brand has named a cigar this way. The first, a Britanicas Extra (48 x 137 mm) was produced exclusively for Switzerland, and dates back to 2014.

As with its predecessor, the Punch Duke, the production of the Ramón Allones Perfecto is limited to 6,000 boxes of 10 units each, individually numbered and exclusively launched for the Mexican market.
