Ramón Allones Private Stock 230 Edición Regional Gran Bretaña 2020
A new vitola for the brand, in celebration of the 230th anniversary of the British importer.
Founded in 1790, Hunters & Frankau, the official and exclusive importer of Habanos in the UK, celebrated its 230th anniversary in 2020 with a new cigar in Edición Regional Gran Bretaña: the Ramón Allones Private Stock 230.
The vitola chosen by Ramón Allones for this new regional edition, finally released in 2022 due to the pandemic, is the Partagás 16. This relatively rare module is currently used exclusively for special productions, such as regional editions, Edición Limitada and commemorative humidors. With a cepo of 50 and a length of 170 mm, the Partagás 16 is a new model for the brand.
Concerning the name, "Private Stock 230" refers on the one hand to the 230th anniversary of the British importer, now managed by Jemma Freeman, but also to an old cigar of the 20th century. Moreover, the shape of the box of the Private Stock 230 as well as the yellow ribbon which maintains them are a wink to this old cigar.
Like all regional editions, the Private Stock 230 is dressed in the characteristic second wine-colored ring and stamped "Exclusivo" followed by the country's name in Spanish. However, to highlight the significance of this launch, the main ring is exclusive. White and black, it is inspired by the "Standard Band A" that dressed some cigars of the brand in the past.
The production of the Ramón Allones Private Stock 230 is limited to 3'600 boxes of 25 cigars, individually numbered, all intended for the British market.
