Hunters & Frankau Ramón Allones Private Stock 230 House Reserve Series 1790 Collection Humidor - Number Two
The second humidor of the "Series 1790" collection.
At the latest Ignite 2022 conference, a trade show dedicated to the independent tobacco retail industry, Hunters & Frankau, the exclusive distributor of Cuban cigars in the UK, announced the launch of the Hunters & Frankau Ramón Allones Private Stock 230 House Reserve Series 1790 Collection Humidor - Number Two.
As indicated in its name, this is the second humidor in the series, introduced in 2019 with the launch of the Hunters & Frankau House Reserve Series 1790 Collection Humidor - Number 1, which contained 10 pieces of each Edición Regional released in the UK between 2005 and 2017.
Every year since the turn of the century, Hunters & Frankau has set aside a few boxes of Habanos for aging, to create the "House Reserve" collection. These boxes were carefully stored under perfect temperature and humidity conditions until the first of these precious cigars were released, two decades later.
The "House Reserve" collection is composed of two series: "Aged & Rare" and "Series 1790".
Today's humidor is part of the 1790 series, which is the gem of the House Reserve collection. Named in honor of the founding year of Hunters & Frankau, it is composed of the rarest and most prized Habanos in the collection. All editions of the 1790 series will be presented in an exclusive humidor specially made for the occasion, which will contain a thematic selection of Havanas.
Made by the Italian company DeArt in only 50 pieces individually numbered, it contains seven different Ramón Allones cigars - three Edición Limitada and four Edición Regional. 10 cigars of each size, with the exception of the Belicoso, which was one of the first Regional Edition cigars to be released when the program officially began in 2005 and which is found in a unique copy.
The Hunters & Frankau Ramón Allones Private Stock 230 House Reserve Series 1790 Collection Humidor - Number Two contains a total of 61 Ramón Allones cigars from special productions over the last 18 years. Each of these cigars is adorned with a special secondary foot ring that attests its integration into the Hunters & Frankau House Reserve aging program.
These cigars are displayed in an exclusive box, created by Alberto and Massimo, the sons of DeART founder Giovanni de Munari. Thank’s to more than 50 years of expertise in the industry, they created this humidor that can hold all those rare cigars of different shapes and sizes, without compromising the perfect storage conditions they require.
Each humidor features a humidification system and is signed by Jemma Freeman, executive director of Hunters & Frankau.
