The famous Romeo y Julieta Belicosos has been given a new jar exclusively for the Italian market. Commissioned by Diadema S.p.a., the exclusive distributor of Habanos for Italy, the Vatican and San Marino, this sumptuous jar boasts an innovative style. With a design close to that of the traditional 18th century jars made by La Cartuja in Spain, the Romeo y Julieta Belicosos jar adopts an opening system never seen before.
In fact, the lid is actually the body of the jar. Once lifted, only the base remains, which makes it easier to take a cigar and offers the possibility of admiring the precious contents at each opening.
Beyond the technical aspect, this jar reflects the simplicity and beauty of the Romeo y Julieta brand by using the colour codes and the famous logo illustrating the famous balcony scene in downtown Verona, Italy, where Julieta proclaimed her love for Romeo.
Each of the 360 copies is individually numbered and contains 25 Romeo y Julieta Belicosos, a Campanas (52 x 140 mm), carefully selected. This cigar is the only Figurado in the regular Romeo y Julieta catalogue. Well-known to aficionados, it was introduced around 1960 and has since been highly prized by lovers of medium-sized cigars, with generous aromas of leather and cocoa.
