Romeo y Julieta Cazadores Encuentro Amigos de Partagás en Italia 15 Aniversario Jar
The 2021 edition of the jar produced exclusively for the famous gathering of aficionados.
Every year, in the Marche region of Italy, the Cigar Club Matelica "Don Alejandro Robaina" organises one of the most important European events for cigar lovers: Encuentro Amigos de Partagás. This event is a celebration of the culture, gastronomy and local wines of the town of Matelica and especially of Habano. As Encuentro Amigos de Partagás has become a reference event for aficionados, Diadema S.p.a., the exclusive distributor of Habanos for Italy, the Vatican and San Marino, is taking advantage of the opportunity to present new products and special productions in honour of this gathering.
This year, for its 15th anniversary, Encuentro Amigos de Partagás has decided to honour the Romeo y Julieta brand with this new porcelain jar. Produced in a limited edition of 200 pieces, exclusively for the occasion, it contains 25 Romeo y Julieta Cazadores. The latter, with a rather sober design, uses the colour codes of the Romeo y Julieta brand, enhanced by golden details and the "XV Encuentro Amigos de Partagás en Italia" logo placed in the centre.
Let's get back to the cigar. The Romeo y Julieta Cazadores entered the brand's catalogue named after William Shakespeare's tragedy of the lovers before the Cuban Revolution of 1960. Still in regular production today, it shares its vitola with the Fonseca No.1, also introduced before the 1960 revolution and still in production today. Also known as the Lonsdale, the Cazadores has a 43 Cepo and is 162 mm long. An elegant, slender-looking vitola, offering a magnificent intensity when tasted, rich with notes of leather, earth and pepper, all punctuated by coffee notes.
For the occasion and to underline the exclusive character of these cigars, they are dressed with a double band. The first is the brand's classic band. The second band is the same colour as the jar and is stamped with the logo "Encuentro Amigos de Partagás en Italia", underlined by the words "15 Aniversario".
