Founded in 2020, CB Cigars is the result of a meaningful encounter—and above all, a friendship—between Palmo Esposito, owner of the Don Capa factory and cigar brand, and Cédric Borboën.

The duo revitalized a dormant legend by teaming up with three masters of the craft—true encyclopedias of tobacco, with over 120 years of combined experience. Together, they built on the rich Dominican tradition, tracing their roots to a factory established in Santiago de los Caballeros in 1959.

With the Dominican Republic now surpassing Cuba as the world’s leading cigar producer, CB Cigars stands for exceptional quality and artisanal precision. Their cigars are handcrafted using tobaccos aged between 4 and 13 years, sourced from the country’s most fertile regions and meticulously fermented—often triple or even quadruple—to bring out unparalleled depth of flavor.

After rolling, each cigar undergoes a further 6-month maturation period in a temperature- and humidity-controlled cellar, allowing for the harmonious fusion of aromas: ripe fruits, spices, cocoa, pepper, coffee, and more.
