Bolívar Short Bolívar Edición Regional Andorra 2017

First regional edition of the brand for Andorra!

Andorra has just received its latest regional edition: the Bolívar Short Bolívar!

Although Andorra is one of the smallest sovereign states in Europe, it stands out for the number of regional editions, 7 in total, making it one of the countries with the most! However, this is the first time that the Bolívar brand has been chosen!

The module is the same as the one chosen by the Nordic countries (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) with the Rafael González North Star released the same year. It is a Petit Robustos (50 x 102 mm), a vitola that has already undoubtedly won over Andorran aficionados, as it was already used in 2009 by Juan López for a previous regional edition: the Short Robusto. More generally, the Petit Robustos has been used 16 times in the program of the regional editions. However, it is only present in the regular catalogue of two brands: Hoyo de Monterrey and Romeo y Julieta with the Petit Robustos and Petit Churchills respectively.

As for the name of the cigar, Short Bolívar, a cigar of the same name has already been produced by the brand in 2008, for an Asia Pacifico regional edition. However, the cigars are in fact very different. Indeed, the 2008 version is a Petit Edmundo (52 x 11 mm) and is presented in boxes of 25 cigars, produced in 7'400 copies. Whereas the Andorran version is limited to 3'000 boxes of 20 cigars, individually numbered and intended for the Andorran market.
